While the boat is primarily used for fishing on Lake Fork, Gary is also a regular competitor in the DSRA (Deep South Racing Association) and the APBA's OCS (Outboard Championship Series) series with the set-up by Key Puckett @ Fishing World. The boat has been clocked @ 96 mph in the 1/4 mile with an estimated top speed of 108. It runs mid to upper 12's and is very competive with the high performance Ski and other Lake Racer hulls.
